AI art creation vs. me and my work.
AI "art creation" is NOT something I condone or will be a passive party to. At this point in my life, my art is my only source of income. In my real life I am waging a battle with multiple healthcare systems for my spouse's life care and well being. This has kept me from being an active community member for several years now, and with this decision by the DA Team, it seems it is time for me to shut down my deviant-art account. To all my dear friends and DA family, I will continue to follow your work in other places, so this really isn't good-bye. To all of my watchers and fellow creatives, you who have buoyed my spirits, and granted me the honor of enjoying your work and inspiration, I regretfully say fare well, follow your vision. I wish all of you good health, showers of blessings, and success in your endeavors.

The Custom Lego card I made a year ago
I am removing this from my gallery because it seems to be getting a lot of "faves" from "deviants whose accounts are suddenly removed immediately after they add it to their favorites". It was an interesting exercise. I thought a few of you might like to try the technique as a piece of graphics. That particular mini-fig doesn't exist to my knowledge. So I have put an end to the grab it and gone game. If the picture in this journal vanishes, so be it.

That title is a line from a film titled "The Last Starfighter". The line is pertinent here. Last year, I briefly mentioned health issues, and caregivers. This time, I have to admit some serious changes in my real life have changed what I get to do here. In the course of the past year I have had to close up shop, as the saying goes, and dust off a skill set I haven't had to use since my adult kids were short.
